I wouldn’t recommend the Voopoo Finic Fish.
I used to use the Minifit that I thought was great except that it’s difficult to get the refillable pods, so I looked at the Voopoo Finic Fish and based on the only reviews, I can only believe that they Vape reviewer guys never used the product since what they say is basically on the specs.
First the pros:
1) It’s nice and slim so fits in the pocket well.
2) No buttons so its simpler to use
3) It’s magnet holds the pod in well
4) It’s inexpensive
None of those, except for the last, really stands out for me when considering the three cons.
1) They recommend that you never let the pod’s contents drop below 2/3, so that means constant filling, even for me who uses it maybe every half hour.
2) They state that the pods side filling is convenient. It isn’t. First the plug is difficult to remove with fingernails as the space to grab the top with finger nails is narrow and for me requires the point of a knife. Second, the hole that receives the liquid is plastic, not rubber, and requires forcing the tip of the bottle into it, which means it goes all the way in and you have to twist it about to pull it back gently before squeezing the liquid in, and that’s when the mess starts. You truly have to force the liquid in and that means it leaks from the electronic connectors of the pod and sometimes the spout before it’s even close to filled and I never fill it completely.
3) After each filling I have to clean out the Voopoo Vape’s connectors because there are always tiny droplets of liquid near them and would be a mess if I ignored them.
4) The battery life is not as they state – A day long. I have to charge it three times a day, and while it charges you can’t use it so it must be interrupted to take a few puffs if the need arises during the hour of charging.
Now I may be spoiled from the Minifit, which involves little to no spillage while filling, requires less filling through out the day, and the battery lasts easily a day if I turn it on only to take a few puffs and then turned it off again.
